Getting on the LFTR

Filed under: nuclear energy,Ralph Buttigieg — ralphbuttigieg @ 9:51 pm

There an energy source that can produce all the energy we need with even less problems then nuclear from uranium.  :Thorium reactors.

Sounds good to me, and in my view, a lot more realistic then Solar Power Satellites.

  1. Great Post Ralph. This is a nuclear technology concept that is long over due.

  2. If LFTR is one of the answers to our energy prayers, why are these reactors not already in service?

  3. G'day,Well, current uranium reactor are pretty good and have the advantage of technological inertia also uranium is cheap. The current interest in thorium reactors seems to be part of the general increased interest in nuclear energy due to concerns over global warming.
